The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data-processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Right to Object to Processing in Specific Cases and to Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If processing of your personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on those provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this Privacy Policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR).
Where your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to processing of your personal data for such marketing; this also applies to profiling to the extent it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection under Art. 21(2) GDPR).
Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done where technically feasible.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content—such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator—this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser’s address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and the lock icon in your browser bar.
If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Access, Blocking, Deletion, and Rectification
Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this and other questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the Imprint.
Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the Imprint. The right to restrict processing applies in the following cases:
If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of processing instead of deletion.
If you have objected under Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data—apart from its storage—may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.

3. Data Collection on Our Website
Cookies
Some internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help make our offering more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser upon your next visit.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and to enable automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you desire (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, these are addressed separately in this Privacy Policy.
Server Log Files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address
This data will not be combined with data from other sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website—for this, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions—particularly retention periods—remain unaffected.
Registration on This Website
You can register on our website to use additional functions on the site. We use the data entered only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.
For important changes—such as scope of the offer or technically necessary changes—we use the email address provided at registration to inform you in this way.
The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing already carried out remains unaffected.
The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

This includes, in particular:
Facebook name
Facebook profile and cover photo
Facebook cover photo
Email address stored with Facebook
Facebook ID
Facebook friends list
Facebook Likes
Date of birth
Gender
Country
Language
This data is used to set up, provide, and personalize your account.

For the comment function on this site, in addition to your comment, information on the time the comment was created, your email address, and—if you do not post anonymously—the user name you have chosen are stored.
Storage of IP Address
Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who post comments. Since we do not review comments on our site before they are published, we need this data to be able to take action against the author in case of legal infringements such as insults or propaganda.
Subscribing to Comments
As a user of the site, you can subscribe to comments after registering. You will receive a confirmation email to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address. You can unsubscribe from this function at any time via a link in the information emails. The data entered in the context of subscribing to comments will be deleted in this case; data you have transmitted to us for other purposes (e.g., newsletter subscription) remains unaffected.
Retention Period for Comments
Comments and associated data (e.g., IP address) are stored and remain on our website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments must be deleted for legal reasons (e.g., offensive comments).
Legal Basis
The storage of comments is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent you have given at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing already carried out remains unaffected.

We collect, process, and use personal data only to the extent necessary for establishing, structuring the content of, or modifying the legal relationship (inventory data). We collect, process, and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.
The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Data Transfer at Contract Conclusion for Online Shops, Retailers, and Shipment of Goods
We transfer personal data to third parties only if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the credit institution entrusted with payment processing. No further transfer of the data takes place or only if you have expressly consented to the transfer. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, e.g., for advertising purposes.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Facebook Plugins (Like & Share Button)
Plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated on our pages. You can recognize Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our site. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/?locale=de_DE.

If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or of how Facebook uses it. Further information can be found in Facebook’s Privacy Policy: https://de-de.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook account.
The use of Facebook plugins is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in achieving the widest possible visibility on social media.

The use of the Instagram plugin is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in achieving the widest possible visibility on social media.
Further information can be found in Instagram’s Privacy Policy: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
5. Analytics Tools and Advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses “cookies.” These are text files stored on your computer that enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analytics tool are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both the website and advertising.
IP Anonymization
We have activated IP anonymization on this website. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objecting to Data Collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents your data from being collected on future visits to this website: Deactivate Google Analytics.
For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Demographics in Google Analytics
This website uses the “Demographics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as shown under “Objecting to Data Collection.”
WordPress Stats
This website uses the WordPress tool “Stats” to statistically evaluate visitor access. The provider is Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110-4929, USA.
WordPress Stats uses cookies that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of website usage. The information generated by the cookies about the use of our website is stored on servers in the USA. Your IP address is anonymized after processing and before storage.
“WordPress Stats” cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
The storage of “WordPress Stats” cookies and the use of this analytics tool are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both the website and advertising.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and enable automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
You can object to the collection and use of your data for the future by setting an opt-out cookie in your browser with a click on this link: https://www.quantcast.com/opt-out/.
If you delete the cookies on your computer, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements from Google Inc. (“Google”). Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google AdSense uses “cookies,” text files stored on your computer, that enable analysis of website usage. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). Web beacons can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on these pages.
The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of ad formats is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information may be passed on by Google to Google’s contractual partners. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data stored about you.
The storage of AdSense cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both the website and advertising.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device features of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted depending on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., cell phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).
If you have given the corresponding consent, Google links your web and app browsing history to your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on every device on which you sign in with your Google account.
To support this function, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
Data aggregation in your Google account is based solely on your consent, which you can give to or withdraw from Google (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For data collection processes not merged into your Google account (e.g., because you do not have a Google account or objected to merging), data collection is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the website operator’s interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.
Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google Ads, we use conversion tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser places on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across websites of Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both the website and advertising.
More information about Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and enable automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Facebook Pixel
Our website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook for conversion measurement, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”).
This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables the effectiveness of Facebook advertising to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.
The collected data is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This enables Facebook to place ads on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. We as site operators cannot influence this use of data.
The use of the Facebook pixel is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media.
Further information on protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook’s privacy notices: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function in the ad settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising by Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.
6. Newsletter
Newsletter Data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered in the newsletter subscription form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent to the storage of the data, the email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of processing already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.
7. Plugins and Tools
YouTube with Enhanced Privacy Mode
Our website uses plugins from YouTube. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this website before they view a video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the enhanced privacy mode. Thus, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your browsing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube can store various cookies on your device. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to compile video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
Further data processing operations may be triggered after a YouTube video starts, over which we have no control.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in their Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. Google thus becomes aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and easy findability of the places indicated on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (“reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entry on our websites (e.g., in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. To this end, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, time spent on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings against abusive automated spying and against spam.
Further information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s Privacy Policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.
8. Payment Providers and Resellers
PayPal
We offer, among other things, payment via PayPal on our website. The provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”).
If you choose payment via PayPal, the payment data you enter will be transmitted to PayPal.
The transmission of your data to PayPal is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing for the performance of a contract). You have the option to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. A withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of data processing operations carried out in the past.
Sofortüberweisung (Sofort / Klarna)
We also offer payment via “Sofortüberweisung.” The provider of this payment service is Sofort GmbH, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich (“Sofort GmbH”).
With the “Sofortüberweisung” process, we receive a real-time payment confirmation from Sofort GmbH and can begin fulfilling our obligations immediately.
If you choose “Sofortüberweisung,” you transmit your PIN and a valid TAN to Sofort GmbH, which can then log into your online banking account. Sofort GmbH automatically checks your account balance after logging in and carries out the transfer to us using the TAN you provided. It then immediately sends us a transaction confirmation.
